An ex-Banker turned entrepreneur driving growth for FinTech with over 20 years experience in Innovation, Payments, Digital Transformation and Risk & Compliance, across buy and sell-side business lines. She has held several global & regional roles at Deutsche Bank, UBS, Standard Chartered Bank and consulting firms. Most recently, she was the global lead for Innovation for Financial Crime Compliance at Standard Chartered Bank based in Singapore.

She is an advocate for gender equity and believes in the strength of diverse, inclusive teams to create better innovative solutions. Driven by problem solving, connecting dots to achieving social impact whilst ensuring commercial sustainability

What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?

Leaving a high profile role to find time to connect with my self by running a boutique hotel in Zanzibar and becoming an entrepreneur.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I am cynophilist and I was UBER driver for 5 weeks.

What is the best quality for successful leaders in Risk?

Leading with empathy and hiring people smarter than themselves.
