After winning a scholarship to one of the top engineering universities in Turkey and graduating 1 year early, I moved to England where I founded my own consulting business while realising one of my dreams to earn an MBA. I am experienced in the financial technology sector specialising in compliance and financial crime.

I keep going in my learning journey and dedication to the Fincrime and Compliance profession. I am eager to learn more and grow and pave the way for others and to empower, elevate and educate other women of all backgrounds who are yet to step into their power and rise up.

What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?
Leaving my home country where I had family, a large support network and numerous career opportunities and moving to a completely new country and culture in order to give myself a best opportunities in life.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I used to be a competitive swimmer. Represented Istanbul and Turkey at swimming in many tournaments and championships, domestic and international.
