I have built a purpose-driven career in Risk and Assurance, strengthening governance, internal controls, and audit practices at scale. Through leadership roles with IIA and ISACA, global thought leadership, and client-led transformations as a Managing Director, I have shaped the profession. I invest time in advancing women in assurance through focused mentoring and enablement initiatives.
What makes you a Risky Woman?
What makes me a risky woman is my choice to pursue impact over comfort. I challenge traditional Risk and Assurance models, step into the unknown, and ask for more when it matters. I prioritize family without abandoning ambition and take purpose-driven risks to create change, believing progress comes from courage, resilience, and intent.
Name your top 3 achievements

- Most proudly, raising two independent, respectful, and talented daughters, my greatest and most meaningful achievement.
What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?
I built my career delivering impact in Risk Operations, then took a deliberate risk by moving into sales and offerings to create broader client value. I chose flexibility when family needed priority, without losing ambition. I’m never afraid to ask for more, challenge boundaries, and step confidently into the unknown.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I began working the day after my higher secondary exams and have never stopped. Every qualification—CA, CIA, CISA, CRMA, and more—was earned after marriage and motherhood. From a regional medium education to proofreading business cases today, my humble roots keep me grounded and make me an approachable, authentic leader.
What is the best quality for successful leaders in Risk?
Stay Aware and alert. Continuous learning, unlearning is key. Engage with younger generation to know how tech is shaping the world for good and other. Be humble and approachable to address issues. Challenge the status quo when everything looks green.
