What makes you a Risky Woman?
I’m newer to the GRC space, but I show up with curiosity and community. I believe the best way to learn is alongside others, and I’m passionate about embracing and uplifting women in every role, at every level.
Name your top 3 achievements
- Organizing Compliance. Curated. — Impero’s flagship event for risk, internal control, and compliance professionals
- Helping bring Risky Women to the Nordics, championing a community that uplifts women across GRC
- Driving knowledge sharing on how to simplify risk and controls, making the complex work in driving compliance more accessible through my work at Impero
What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?
Quitting a job without anything lined up. It taught me more about myself than any role ever had. Sometimes the best risk mitigation is taking a risk. And proactively saying no to something that isn’t right, before it costs you more.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’ve lived on three different continents – each one shaped how I think about people, culture, and yes, risk.
What is the best quality for successful leaders in Risk?
The willingness to talk openly about risk, not just manage it. Leaders who foster a culture of honesty and psychological safety don’t just identify risk earlier, they make it easier for everyone around them to do the same. Openness is the mitigation strategy.
