Gloria serves as Chair of NAB’s Cultural Inclusion Employee Resource Group steering strategic initiatives to accelerate cultural diversity in leadership and to harness the power of cultural inclusion. Also serving as a member of the Women in Banking and Finance Vic Leadership Committee, Gloria targets to grow the talent pipeline of professional women and develops initiatives to amplify the voice of women of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

I have over 15 years of risk management and regulatory compliance experience as an international financial services leader. I am a risk management evangelist who infuses Inclusion and Diversity principles in effective risk management, strategy and innovation and corporate governance.

What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?
I put my hand up for a secondment opportunity to be the first non Mainland Chinese Head of Compliance and MLRO for the Shanghai branch of a global bank.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I was a successful entrepreneur before I got into law school. The small business blood still runs deeply inside me.
