With nearly 2 decades of experience in the financial crime compliance and prevention industry, my experiences span across Product Engineering, Product Strategy and Management, Business and Customer Strategy to Sales Strategy and Execution. I have worked extensively in the AML/KYC and now in the digital Identity and fraud space with the sole purpose of enabling businesses fulfil their anti- financial crime obligations and protect and prevent fraud.

I constantly drive change strategic thinking and innovation by finding creative solutions to compliance challenges. Through my experiences across different teams, I drive a risk aware culture and have positioned myself to be a trusted advisor helping people navigate complex challenges and for customers to effectively manage their risks.

What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?

I’ve taken a couple of risks and have been always been proud of the choices I made:

1. As a young graduate, with no international experience or support moved out of my country for an exiting opportunity.
2. Having a non- traditional career path and transitioning to senior leadership roles and thriving through through them. It have given me quite a diverse experience and allowed me to build a career that allows me to effectively operate within and along with business, product, technology and sales.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I’ve always wanted and still want to be a Criminal Lawyer!

What is the best quality for successful leaders in Risk?

Strategic thinking and influence is key for any successful leader. Decisiveness is equally important and ability to make timely, well reasoned decision even with limited information is crucial. As women leaders, I’d also say that emotional intelligence becomes quite important to balance diplomacy with assertiveness.
