Partner Account Manager at Refinitiv, an LSEG business, specialising in risk compliance, screening, fraud, and digital identity. With almost a decade of experience in the data space, I started off in Bloomberg with a focus on Equities before joining the risk business of Thomson Reuters.
What makes you a Risky Woman?
I believe my collaborative skills and understanding of the complex regulatory landscape in APAC has made me a Risky Woman. Especially in APAC, I spend my time educating the market and providing thought leadership on the ever evolving needs of risk and compliance so I can set up customers and partners for success.
Name your top 3 achievements
- When I made the change from Sales into Partnership, I wholeheartedly believe partnership would change from what it was to what it should bring for the business. When I was provided the opportunity to jump to Partners, I couldn’t jump on it any faster! I am in a place where I am constantly learning and growing and am super proud of what I give back to the APAC partnership community.
- CEO circle and award, winning CEO circle / Best of SAM / Presidents club last year and picking up a number of awards this year was one of my biggest achievements. I have worked so hard and am finally being recognised for my contributions.
- Won 5th place for age category in Hyrox for rowing, my least favourite workout. I joined a relay with 3 other ladies and managed to snag this accomplishment along the way!
What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?
When I first started my sales role in risk and compliance, I didn’t know if it was something I’d enjoy or a space that would continue to grow. I still took the risk to leap into the industry I had absolutely no insights trusting my then female leader. I thank most of my success and where I am now because of the vision she provided me.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I have a white dog named Sirius black (Harry Potter) and a black dog name Fallon (never ending story).
What is the best quality for successful leaders in Risk?
Deep knowledge of the industry and good communication skills; being able to have that deep knowledge in the industry and convey and educate our industry are the qualities for all the successful leaders I have seen in the Risk space.
