Anastasia Dokuchaeva is a seasoned professional with expertise and proven track record delivering regulatory technology solutions to the financial services industry. In her current role as Head of Product at ClauseMatch, she looks after strategic product development and projects around recent and upcoming regulations, including regulatory change management, end-to-end compliance management automation, digital regulation.

Anastasia is a frequent speaker at industry events with the focus on challenges around data management and standards. She was twice recognised by Innovate Finance Women in Fintech powerlist.

What makes you a Risky Woman?

Anastasia has always worked to help streamline processes around risk and compliance. Prior to ClauseMatch, Anastasia was Director of Global Regulatory Solutions at FactSet, where under her leadership the company released a number of successful solutions for Solvency II, BCBS 239, and KYC/AML. At present, Anastasia oversees product development roadmap for all the compliance automation solutions developed by ClauseMatch (policy management, regulatory change management, digital regulation).

Name your top 3 achievements

1. Signed a contract with Revolut providing AI-powered solution for regulatory change management prior to their launch in new jurisdictions.
2. Inspired the development of innovative solutions for digitalising the regulatory code.
3. During the pre-pandemic times I managed to be in Singapore and New York at 2 conference in one week and deliver presentations to large audiences.

What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?

I think it is switching jobs: leaving a corporate for work in a (back then) startup company. But it is absolutely rewarding. This risk was definitely worth taking.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

Anastasia is combining successful and very intense work with family life. She’s a wife and a mom to 2 sons.

What is the best quality for successful leaders in Risk?

I don’t think there’s just one best quality for women leaders in Risk and Compliance. But I think that it in order to be a successful leader in Risk and Compliance it is very important to be proactive on the one hand, and also on top of all the latest tech developments that can ease the burden and risk of manual mundane tasks – in the new reality this has become a must.
