Description

Strategic, tech-savvy leader in risk and compliance with 5+ years’ experience spanning global financial services, pharmaceutical and consumer regulation, as well as risk consulting and RegTech. As a Regional Customer Executive Head at CUBE Global, I drive adoption of automated regulatory intelligence and risk management solutions delivering strategic outcomes for clients, and champion transformative risk solutions with an unwavering focus on customer excellence. I support the acceleration of RegTech adoption across the industry in my secondary role as a Board Director for the Global RegTech Association.

What makes you a Risky Woman?

I challenge traditional risk and compliance paradigms, pioneering AI-enabled regulatory intelligence that turns complexity into strategic opportunities. I empower teams to navigate compliance with confidence and clarity, mentor emerging leaders, and influence industry thinking on the future of governance, risk and compliance, particularly around innovation and diversity and inclusion.

Name your top 3 achievements

  1. Leading CUBE’s Asia Pacific expansion, embedding automated regulatory intelligence across major financial institutions, and new sectors.
  2. Delivering enterprise-wide regulatory transformation at global banks, under regulatory scrutiny, aligning risk strategy with business and customer outcomes.
  3. Amplifying the GRC profession through industry speaking across the globe, board engagement and mentoring diverse talent into leadership roles.

What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?

The biggest professional risk I took was leaving a partnership offer at a Big 4 consulting firm and an established senior role in banking to join a [then] RegTech startup to lead RegTech adoption across a complex, emerging market. It required navigating uncertainty, redefining compliance value-creation without brand awareness, building new skills and lots of late nights / multiple time zone challenges. But it reshaped my career and helped our customers to reimagine the possibilities of risk and compliance as a strategic advantage.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I come from a family of lawyers; two judges and two partners at global corporate law firms. Although I studied law, I was the only one who did not go into legal practice, choosing instead to work in regulatory law enforcement and later transition into risk and compliance.

What is the best quality for successful leaders in Risk?

The best quality for successful leaders in risk is strategic courage. Specifically, the ability to anticipate change, ask the hard questions, and challenge norms to inspire confidence amidst uncertainty and make better risk decisions, balancing risk with opportunity. Leaders require abundant empathy, clarity in their purpose and boundless resilience.
