Dear Risky Women,
Thank you for joining us in Charlotte for the exclusive screening of One in 50. It was a powerful and deeply moving evening, and we are grateful you took the time to be part of a conversation that demands our attention – and our action.
We extend our sincere thanks to LSEG for sponsoring this event and for their leadership in supporting conversations that go beyond awareness to accountability. Their partnership makes it possible to bring this important story to our Risky Women community and to convene leaders who are committed to affecting real change.
The film was a stark reminder of the scale and impact of child identity theft – a crime that often goes undetected for years and carries lifelong consequences. The dialogue that followed with the panel made one thing clear: this is not a fringe issue, and it cannot remain someone else’s problem.
As a direct outcome of this event, we will be formally launching the Risky Women | LSEG Think Tank exclusively for our Risky Women members focused on:
- advancing industry awareness and accountability
- developing practical policy afnd regulatory recommendations
- partnering across financial services and government to protect children and families
This Think Tank is not symbolic. It is action-driven, outcome focused, and designed to influence real change in the industry.
If you are interested in contributing – whether through expertise, advocacy or research – we would welcome your involvement. More details on how to participate will follow in January.
Thank you again for standing with us, for engaging thoughtfully, and for being part of a community willing to tackle the issues that matter most.
Warm regards
Lucy Pearman
